| Description: | The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with scheduling and development of programs and activities for the Tribal Elders. The coordinator will assist the Elders in every day planning, coordination and implementation of general recreational activities. This person will be involved in the scheduling and planning of purchasing for and hosting of any requested and approved parties for holidays, special events and monthly meetings.
This individual provides administrative support services to Soboba Elders. Duties will include a combination of the following:

| Duties: | Although other duties may be assigned, the essential duties include the following:
Conduct intake and assist in the planning and evaluating all programs and events held; interact with attendees
Develop and coordinate activities, network with program partners. Serve as liaison between Tribal Elders and all Tribal Government entities
Assists the Board with the development, writing, editing and printing of calendars, Elder event flyers and newsletter etc; Schedule meetings
Organize Travel, arrangements; attend to the details of transportation, itinerary and accommodations for all trips and tours
Handle all business transactions and clerical responsibilities
Assist with the budget preparation, presentation and tracking
Monitor progress during participation in appropriate activities
Authorize and coordinate the tracking of funds
Prepare reports related to program activities
May be required to travel
Any other duties may be assigned by the Soboba Tribal Elders Board

| Qualifications: | EDUCATION
High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
1 year involvement with coordinating, adult and elders in a structured program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of various recreation, classes and activity opportunities that are available
Knowledge of implementation of special events, recreational activities and/or programs
Effective written and oral communication skills, and computer literate
Extensive interactive ability with general public, employees/staff, supervisor.
Knowledge of Native American Culture.
Able to work weekends
Able to multi-task
Able to work independently
Able to organize workload in order to meet deadlines.
REQUIRED
A current California Drivers License
All applicants are required to complete the pre-screen Background Clearance and Drug Testing.
CPR Certified
